Title: Still Waiting

In this series, all of the paintings have a raw feeling, slightly primitive to go with the vulnerability of the emotions portrayed.  This one was done almost exclusively with palette knife and depicts a woman dressed up for someone who has not come.  She's cold in her fur stole, perhaps worried or disappointed in the one who should have already been there a long time ago.  But still she waits.  She holds on, hoping against hope. Romans 8:25
