Title: Silence

Silence was created for a Black and White Show at Olde Towne Art Studio and Gallery.  My intent was to make a scene that seems to emanate the crisp cold of a winter day with air so cold that it seems to freeze your lungs; a day where even the animals and birds are hidden away with fur and feathers fluffed against the frigid temperatures.  Even the creek is almost completely frozen over, and the sounds of its burbling water are covered by the ice.  I hope I succeeded. One day, there will even be a period of silence in heaven:  Rev. 8:1
