Title: Ariel

When I completed the painting of a male lion, Judah, some well-meaning soul asked me if I was going to paint a female “companion piece” to make a set.  It took a while for the Lord to show me that this was His intent.  After much prayer, Ariel was created.  She is a match for the male in all regards.  They complement one another.  Some see in her the huntress, some the gentle friend, some the protector.  She is to me both lioness and Daughter of the Lion.  I hope she has a special meaning for you.
